摘要
The presentations by the panel members will cover the newly approved and published ISO 9001:2000 quality management standard, and some of the related ISO standards under revision. Since introduction in 1987, the ISO 9000 standards have been utilized and adopted by thousands of companies seeking to improve their quality systems. The second revision of these standards has now been completed, with many changes introduced in format and structure as well as in the requirements and guidelines found in ISO 9001 and ISO 9004. The revisions and restructuring of the 9000 family has had significant influence on ISO supporting standards that address quality management in areas such as auditing, measurement, training and documentation. Transitioning to the new ISO 9001:2000, and several supporting standards, will be discussed.
