摘要
This paper examines a natural gas fired power cycles including carbon dioxide capture. Carbon dioxide is captured by absorption using the absorbent MDEA at elevated pressure integrated in the turbine of the gas turbine. Mass and heat balance calculations are carried out with the tools GTPRO (steam cycle), PRO/II (absorption process) and an in-house code for the gas turbine. Results on plant efficiency, including compression of the carbon dioxide to 100 bar, are presented with some parameter sensitivities. The results are compared to the more commonly known carbon dioxide capture process based on atmospheric absorption using MEA. The results are also compared to the combined cycle power plant with no carbon dioxide capture.
