摘要
Photocatalyst can activate water with photoenergy to promote some reactions such as water splitting for solar energy conversion to the storable hydrogen energy, reduction of carbon dioxide with water to yield useful compounds as an artificial photosynthesis, and steam reforming of methane to produce hydrogen at mild condition. In this short article, we reviewed some kinds of metal loaded semiconductor photocatalysts, Rh-loaded K2Ti6O13, Ag-loaded CaTiO3 and Pt-loaded NaTaO3:La, prepared by a flux method examined for these reactions concerning water activation.
