摘要
In order to increase of environmental technology competitiveness, consolidation of entrepreneurship and innovation there should be established sustainable solutions, in a result of which the resources will be used in more appropriate manner and negative impact of economics on environment will be reduced. One of the main driving forces of the economics is a development of innovation processes. Innovation involves high quality professionals in economic activities and during the innovation process, new, competitive products and services with high benefit appear in worlds, regional and local market. The key task for national innovation policy is to establish efficient innovation system that would provide fast and useful exchange of knowledge with production sector, as well as decrease impact on environment. The present article will analyse data of the European Union, OECD and Eurostat on current trends of innovation development and implementation processes of innovation policy in the Baltic States. The present research directs towards analysis of environmental technology competitiveness, innovation processes and their significance in development of entrepreneurship in the Baltic Sea Region. The research consists of several stages: survey for Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian entrepreneurs, analysis of policy tools and innovation policy implementation processes, and analysis of factors, promoting environmental technology competitiveness. The aim of the present article is to analyse factors, influencing development of innovation process, as well as innovation policy tools that promote competitiveness of environment technology. The article provides comparative analysis of innovation processes in the Baltic States. In the present article, the authors explain current development level of innovation implementation, classifies the most important factors, influencing environmental technology competitiveness.
