摘要
With the introduction of environment-friendly architectural design and construction technology worldwide, Korea needs to take serious consideration of planning and designing environment-friendly building envelopes. Traditionally, the design of an envelope that divides between the inside and outside a building into focused on defining the relationship between the indoor space and outdoor nature as the first architectural element that is visually identified and a primary device that responds to the external environment. However, the absence of clear definition of envelope related design specifications and guidelines for domestic environment-friendly buildings has created a lot of challenges in adaptation. Today, researches that are underway in and out of Korea are limited to the adoption of the double envelop system, raising the need for ways to present concrete methods of application. Against this backdrop, this study aims to identify a variety of planning components related to environment-friendly buildings and their envelopes in an integrated manner and to present the types of feasible design alternatives applicable to actual architectural design.
