摘要
The new genus Immersisphaeria is proposed for Hypocrea eichleriana upon morphological examination and comparative analysis of its type specimen. It is characterized by perithecia immersed in a corticiaceous host, hyaline peridium and unitunicate cylindrical asci without a distinct apical apparatus, containing brown unicellular ascospores.
