摘要
The properties of fine steel slag (0-5 mm) and slag power produced by the roller technology in BaoSteel Group were investigated, and they were used to replace the miner power and fine aggregate of asphalt mixture. The mix design, volume expansion property, high-temperature performance, low-temperature performance, and water stability of the steel slag asphalt mixture were experimental studied. The results indicated that the fine steel slag and slag power had larger density than ordinary aggregates and were porous and shown the relatively stronger ability to absorb the asphalt. For the suitable volume parameters of asphalt mixture, the asphalt content of the steel slag asphalt mixture was higher than that of conventional asphalt mixture, and the grading curve of the steel slag asphalt mixture was beyond the gradation range of conventional asphalt mixture. But the volume expansion of asphalt mixture caused by steel slag powder and fine steel slag was little, and compared with the common asphalt mixture, the routine pavement performances of the steel slag asphalt mixture were significantly improved.
