摘要
The reliability of the method used and the reliability of the human factor contribute to the resulting reliability of a solution in managerial case studies. In management, as the current practice shows, we encounter distortions of these reliabilities much more frequently than in technical fields. The causes are both objective, which cannot be controlled and therefore influenced by us and subjective, which can be under certain conditions reduced. Subjective causes are of two types: The systematic failure of the human factor, which is mostly the cognitive distortion of intuitive judgment occurring at the mental level of thinking. The unpreparedness of managers to effectively apply approaches and tools of theoretical disciplines within managerial calculations (e.g. logic, game theory, system theory, information theory, probability theory, etc.), which are successfully applied in both nature and technical science. The paper deals with the subjective causes of type a). The commonly occurring cognitive distortion will first be identified then analyzed and simple tools and means used for their elimination will be presented and justified. In the specific examples from the current practice will be shown how, despite the fact that to the outside observer the mental level of the solver is not available, it is possible at the mental level to eliminate the incurred distortion by the appropriately designed and to the outside observer easily accessible argumentative level.
