Study on the Management of Design of the EPC Project

Design is an important phase in the performance of an international EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) project. The design work is the basis of the order, purchase and transport of the main equipment for the project and it will also influence the program of the construction, and finally affect the time for completion of the whole project. Therefore, the management of the design work is to be treated as the master key in the performance of the contract of the project. This paper discusses the problems and countermeasures in the management design through a cement plant project in Middle East.
