摘要
The paper is devoted to study of flame retardant polypropylene (PP) based nanocomposites with addition of carbon nanotubes (CNT). Research was made by semiempirical quantum chemistry simulation. A model of interaction between fragments of polymer chains (oligomers) with CNT surface has been proposed. The effect of additive on PP molecular structure was studied. Different types of functional groups (COOH, OH, F) were considered. Molecular level mechanism of CNT influence on the PP combustion parameters is discussed.
