摘要
A distributed version of Kohonen's Self Organizing Map (SOM) algorithm is presented, and it's implementation on a Parallel Virtual Machine (PVM) network running on Intel based PCs with Microsoft Windows 95 is described. Numerical results are given for different work loads.
