A Study on the Upgrade of Processing Trade of Shandong province

It is very significant for the research on the upgrade of processing trade and technology diffusion that we attach great importance to the leading position of those foreign-owned enterprises-which is under the domination of multinational corporations-in processing trade of Shandong province. This article analyses the necessity of the upgrade of processing trade, and studies these foreign-owned enterprises dominated by multinational corporations at the same time. It points out that there are many difficulties for technology diffusion in the processing trade. What follows next in this article is how some specific behavior of these foreign-owned enterprises becomes an obstacle for diffusing technology. Meanwhile, it puts forward several related suggestions to cope with this obstacle in order to promote the upgrade.
