摘要：
This paper examines the employment effect in Knowledge-Intensive Business Services (KIBS) in China. KIBS represent an important element of the so-called 'knowledge economy' and have been amongst the fastest growing employment sectors in advanced economies in recent years. However, the evidence presented in the paper suggests that it's not enough to study only its own absorption ability, i.e. the direct employment effects in KIBS. The total employment effect in KIBS is more important to evaluate accurately and objectively.
