摘要
The aim of this work is to present the construction and validation process of a family support scale, which is oriented to identify the construct's characteristics that may be relevant to Family-Work interface. 76 adults participated (mean age=39.39, SD=6.32) from Buenos Aires, Argentina, who completed the Family Support Scale. Internal consistency and factor analyses were performed as well as correlation with external measures. Results show that Family Support Scale is composed of two subscales: Quality in family relationships and Reciprocal family cooperation, that operationalize affective and instrumental family support, respectively. Moreover, correlations were found with other scales used as external measures. Family Support Scale is an instrument with adequate indicators of factorial validity, concurrent validity, excellent item discriminant ability and excellent reliability.
