摘要
The conventional Vivaldi antenna has the advantage of ultra-wideband. The distribution of surface current is changed by rectangular-slotted at axial edge of the traditional Vivaldi UWB antenna. Thus improving the electrical characteristics of antenna low frequency band. The antenna operating at the bandwidth of 6-18 GHz is designed and fabricated. the size of antenna is 25.5mm x 20mm x 0.762mm, the results show that the VSWR is less than 2 and the 3dB beam width of the antenna is about 90 degrees at whole band. Finally, the antenna elements are sparsely arrayed and beam-formed. In a certain angle, the beam can be scanned and the direction of the target can be judged clearly.
