In the frame of our new spatio-temporal turbulence analysis, the beat-to-beat variability of the heart activity has been investigated by means of magnetocardiographic mapping in 10 patients with ventricular tachycardia (VT) and with coronary heart disease, and compared to 8 normal persons. In all VT-patients at the last phase of ventricular depolarization (RS-interval) we have found a strong enhancement of the parameter Circulation, which is sensitive to local disturbance of the electric signal propagation. In addition, a significantly larger fluctuation of the angle between the current dipole vector and its velocity has been observed throughout the QRS-complex in VT-patients than in healthy normals.
