摘要：
In this paper, we study the semantics of fuzzy sets. We show that fuzzy sets can be interpreted as the aggregation of a set of observations. We formalize this interpretation by means of the OWA and the WOWA operators. The introduction of the WOWA operator allows the user to weigh each observation. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Inc.
