摘要
This paper introduces a feature based dynamic process planning and machining simulation system which is a part of an integrated CAD/CAM system. Feature is a carrier of information and is the basis of the sequence subsystems. The system successfully realizes dynamic matching machining rules, produces the best process plan and machining simulation, including tool path, cutting file, NC program check and collision check. This system is programmed in C language supported by IDEAS software, and runs on SUN, HP, or SGI workstations.
