The management of information in the discipline Theory and Practice of Physical Education

The objective of this study is the management of information with the use of Information and Communication Technologies, in the teaching-educational process of the discipline Theory and Practice of Physical Education in the Faculty-Career of Physical Culture, University of Oriente, Santiago de Cuba. Among the background of this research are the authors Fernandez and Ponjuan (2008, page 2), Choo (2002, page 11), Ckinkota and Kotabe (2001, page 115), Ferrer and Hirt (2004, page 121). ), Goni (2000, p.204), Medina, Del Busto and Hurtado (2016, p.63), Toffler and Toffler H. (2006), which deal with the management of information mediated by the technologies of Information and Communications (ICT). Methods employed: analysis and synthesis, historical-logical and systemic-structural-functional. The techniques: survey, analysis of documentary sources and descriptive statistical processing. These allowed to verify the problem and solve it. The most significant results obtained are in the development of a computerized medium for the management of information in the educational process of the discipline Theory and Practice of Physical Education, to contribute to the progressive renewal of the process of searching for scientific information in the educational process of the discipline. It was concluded that the study of the management of scientific information in the educational process of the discipline Theory and Practice of Physical Education is of great importance, supports the teaching-learning process and contributes to the propagation and feedback of knowledge.
