摘要
In this paper we discuss the spectral features of the radiation emitted by electrons moving in a solenoidal magnetic field in a parallel-plate waveguide. The analysis of the solenoidal brightness is aimed at studying the emission in gyrotron type devices with reference to slippage that occurs between an electron and the radiation field in the device. An analytical formula for the zero-slippage condition is given. and the relevance of our results has been compared to undulator-based devices.
