摘要
As the pandemic evolved, after a year of remote instruction, more teachers are excited to design more vibrant and impactful online/virtual/blended learning experiences. However, teachers often find difficulties finding adequate technical and pedagogical support for cutting-edge development. "Instructional Design Extension Assistant (IDEA)" is anew scheme implemented in the University of Hong Kong between 2021 and 2023. Based on theories from the human resource development (HRD) field, the scheme has been designed to effectively support inexperienced teachers in transforming their instruction into the new normal. In this work-in-progress paper, we will discuss how the e-teaching had been developed during the pandemic, and how e-teaching can be enhanced in the new normal through HRD literature.
