Styrene copolymer latices: Meeting tomorrow's paper coating needs

New developments in latices are presented from the perspective of what are the drivers leading latex producers to create new paper coating latices. Factors that will be addressed include printing technologies, market demands, new pigment technologies and coating process changes. Specific examples of new latex developemtns are covered including developments of acrylonitrile containing latices. Future directions are considered including what can be learned from developments outside of North America.
