摘要
While some enterprises are putting efforts on social responsibility movement, a number of corporations still have no idea about it or show less ability to undertake more social responsibilities. This is probably because many employees are lack of clear and unified understanding on organizational identity orientation. The inconsistencies among individual employee's cognition of organizational identity (individual orientation) may become the difficult point in fulfilling social responsibilities. In this paper, the authors discuss the development and hot points of CSR based on a comparative analysis, and try to use the organizational identity theory to explain Chinese corporate social responsibility performance in comparison with international study. This research may provide reference for the future study on corporate social responsibility in Chinese enterprises.
