Enchancing metacognitive skills using a Web-based cooperative learning environment

摘要：
Herein we present Math&Co., a web-based system implementing cooperative type strategies in a suitable environment for learning math, together with the results of studies conducted using Math&Co. which aimed in particular to investigate students' metacognitive processes in mathematical problem-solving supported by networked technology. By stimulating students' mental processes, our system enables them to develop higher-level math skills and acquire better problem solving abilities.
