This paper deals with the existence of positive solutions to a Dirichlet problem for the superlinear elliptic system Deltau = -lambdaf (upsilon), Deltaupsilon = -lambdag(u) on a ball. where lambda is a positive parameter and f (0), g(0) may be negative. (C) 2003 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
