摘要
Vibration and acoustics emission based methods are commonly used in condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of rotating machinery. However, condition monitoring of low-speed bearings may be more difficult than that of high-speed bearings due to its low signal-to-noise ratio. A detailed discussion on vibration and acoustic emission based methods implemented in recent years for fault detection and health condition monitoring of low-speed bearings is presented in this paper. The comparison of these two methods is given, and some suggestions and considerations are included as well.
