摘要
Hopwood (2018a) posits that interpersonal perceptions and behaviours in personality disorder are shaped through a dynamic and unfolding process that occurs in the interpersonal situation. Concepts in Hopwood's model may be tested using measurement approaches developed to study social cognition, although the model poses unique psychometric challenges that cannot solely be addressed by existing standardized assessments. Therefore, it is necessary to develop paradigms that combine research approaches in social cognition and perception with basic and clinical personality science to study the behaviour and perception systems with adequate temporal resolution.
