摘要
In order to improve the speech condition of stroke patients with speech impairment, facilitate the care of family members and caregivers, a speech care system based on asynchronous brain-computer interface (BCI) is proposed. This system uses Alpha waves to realize the asynchronism of BCI, and therefor patients can independently choose when they want to start the system. The analysis of Steady-State Visual Evoked Potential (SSVEP) signal is used to realize the recognition of patients' language intention. Speech synthesis technology is used to complete the speech output of patients' intentions. The corresponding experiments (off-line and on-line) results not only provide a solution for the implementation of the asynchronous BCI system, but also verify the feasibility of the proposed system in practical application.
