摘要
Applicability of time-average moire techniques for chaotic oscillations is analyzed in this paper. Envelope function characterizing the rate of convergence of time-averaged color intensity is derived. A study of the relationship among Lyapunov exponents and gray scale color intensity provides insight into the process of chaotic contrast modulation and confirms that chaotic oscillations do not produce time-average moire fringes.
