摘要
Modern education can no longer be imagined without media that strongly decouple the forms generated by the Guttenberg era. Media education today is an epiphenomenon of digital technologies and it should be analyzed also from this point of view. The article deals with the dual nature of media education, media education of teachers and education of pupils and students by teachers with the help of new media. Two myths are represented: the first one about the effectiveness of distance learning, which is dispelled by an indication of its low efficiency, and the ease and accessibility of information leads to the fact that, in general, the student, navigating through various sites, resources, image archives, etc., spends in total more time than comprehending the information received. The second myth concerns the translation of classical education from teacher to student, from older to younger. Today, paternalistic relationships are changing to partnerships. Teachers in the field of information and communication technologies are often teenagers, young people who teach the older generation to use digital technologies. The question is raised about the effectiveness of training programs in which computer game strategies are embedded. The role of training systems and simulators in education is emphasized.
