摘要
Genetic algorithm (GA) was applied to develop an active Cu/Zn catalyst for methanol synthesis. Both catalyst composition and preparation condition were included in the hand-made GA program as parameters. The optimization was almost achieved at fifth generation. It is shown that many kinds of parameters can be combined into one binary code and that the binary code can be modified, according to the algorithm, to achieve high catalytic performance.
