摘要
Development of MCFC has been undertaken primarily by NEDO and MCFC research association based on the MITI's New Sunshine program. A 1MW-class plant is operating at Kawagoe site for the purpose of verifying MCFC power generation system. Final target on our program is to operate it under the pressure of 5 ata with 45% thermal efficiency. 1,000kW stacks are composed of two co-flow type 250kW stacks and two cross-flow type 250kW stacks. The test of 1MW plant will be carried out for about 5000 hours. The 200kW internal reforming stack is testing in Amagasaki from June 1999 to March 2000. We are also carrying out broad-ranging research to extend fuel cell life and utilize coal gasification fuel in the future.
