摘要
Sediment transport in the outlet distance of a river is investigated. The applied formula is Ackers-White one, which has been widely verified for the conditions of Lower Odra River. In order to avoid calculations for very small fractions of sediment the bed roughness coefficient by Maninng was introduced. To obtain the measured value of sediment stream in Lower Odra River it needed to apply the bed roughness coefficient smaller than that one appropriate for the river flow. The difference is growing up downstream. The practical example referred to the Lower Odra River confirmed that the sediment stream can be calculated based upon roughness coefficient similar to that one introduced by Maninng.
