With. striking advances in its treatment, cystic fibrosis has turned into an adult condition. Respiratory complications and exocrine pancreatic insufficiency work together to cause malnutrition which reduces survival. The management of low bone mineralization (osteoporosis, osteomalacia) is necessary not only to limit growth failure in younger patients but still in adulthood. We reviewed the literature on malnutrition and bone disease in adults with cystic fibrosis.
