摘要
The purpose of this paper is to study the impact of integrating a large wind power generation on the transient stability issues. We interest to a wind farm connected to a multi-machine transmission power system and we use EUROSTAG as simulation software. The main objective behind this work is to study and simulate various kinds of wind power generator scenarios in the aim to reveal the impact of the integrated wind generation on dynamic performance of power system and on the Critical Clearing Time (CCT) of faults. The Western System Coordinating Council (WSCC) 9 bus and the Algerian islanded power system named Pole In-salah, Adrar and Timimoun (PIAT) 57 bus are used in the simulations. Different case studies are considered during the simulations and the obtained results show the intermittence impact of wind power integration on power system transient stability.
