摘要
Xiangjiang River is one of the most important branches of Yangtze river in China. The step development of Xiangjiang promotes intensively in the recent years. Under the guide of scientific development concept, the paper analyzes and studies the benefits and major side effects of Xiangjiang River step development. Some measures shall be adopted to eliminate or alleviate those side effects such as integrated operation, minimize industrial pollutions etc. Systematic thinking and coordinating enforcement shall be highly emphasized in Xiangjiang River step development. In this way, Xiangjiang River will be the models of resource conservative and environment friendly, and will play an important role in Hunan economic development and social harmony.
