摘要
A novel co-polarized wideband array antenna is proposed for co-channel simultaneous transmit and receive (C-STAR) applications. The proposed C-STAR configuration is composed of three (spiral) antennas sequentially rotated by 120 degrees. Two antennas are used for transmitting (TX) and one for receiving (RX) or vice versa. The high isolation is achieved in this approach by utilizing antennas' orientation, symmetry, and phase cancellation to ideally eliminate the coupled TX signals at the RX port. To demonstrate the performance of the proposed C-STAR configuration, numerical modelling is conducted using method of moments (MoM) solver.
