摘要
Cutaneous AL amyloiclosis is one complication of multiple myeloma. In our patient, painful sclerotic skin changes on the extremities and macroglossia were the presenting features which led to a more detailed investigation and the diagnosis of multiple myeloma. Histological examination revealed cutaneous deposits of amyloid which were positive with Congo red stain and had an apple green color in polarized light.
