Preparation of the polymer composites with glass fibers by resin transfer molding and examination of their thermomechanical properties

摘要：
Three corn. unsatd. resins were used as matrices for prodn. of glass fabrics and nonwovens-reinforced composites by resin transfer molding. After curing, the composites showed good mech. properties, low linear shrinkage, and water absorption. The epoxy resin composites showed glass transition temp. 44-68 degrees C, while unsatd. polyester resin composites 115-127 degrees C.
