摘要
Feasibility study of low profile multilayer patch antennas using stacked BSTO-YIG thin film heterostructure has been investigated. This stacked heterostructure is comprised of an electrical-field-tunable ferroelectric BSTO with two embedded platinum electrodes, a ferromagnetic YIG thin film on a GGG substrate, and a relatively rigid Si substrate. The heterostructure dielectric parameters were analyzed. The calculated results demonstrate that a BSTO-YIG can be only tuned over a relatively narrow bandwidth.
