摘要
The developed plasma technology for acetylene and technical hydrogen production from natural gas using an electric arc combined plasmatron-reactor (CPR) for generation of hydrogen-hydrocarbon plasma is presented. Characteristics of efficient CPR operation, which allowed increasing acetylene concentration in pyrolysis gases and decreasing specific power consumption for acetylene production compared to electrical cracking and plasma pyrolysis with a neutral heat carrier, are described. Selection of the preferred version of the process was difficult because this process is a multicriterion and multiparametric system with nonlinear and stochastic behavior, while the tools for studying such systems were not available at that time. The investigations and design calculations of this system were made using the computer complex "SINTEZ", which allowed systemic computer analysis by the specific CPR characteristics and the process indicators of acetylene and technical hydrogen production from natural gas.
