Test software and tuners support CAE program

BLENDING hardware and software effectively can result in a powerful tool. This, in essence, is the product of combining a line of precision impedance tuner systems with not one but two software products. The MT998Q1 software from Maury Microwave Corp. (Ontario, CA) enables device characterization data from the company's Automatic Tuner System (ATS) to be easily imported into the Advanced Design System (ADS) software from HP EEsof (Westlake Village, CA). The data can then be used for design simulation and analysis of circuits and systems, forming an accelerated path for new product development.
