摘要：

For the first time, thienyl manganese halides have been used for the synthesis of regioregular head-to-tail poly(3-hexylthiophene). A variety of conditions were examined, and the polymerization was successfully completed in the presence of Ni(dppe)Cl-2 at ambient temperature affording the title polymer in high yields with excellent regioregularity.
