Proton and carbon-13 NMR spectra of paramagnetic cobalt(II) complexes containing mono- and di-methylpyridines

摘要
H-1 and C-13 NMR spectra were obtained for a series of sixteen paramagnetic complexes of general formula [CoX2LO2], where X is CI or Br and L is a methylpyridine (picoline) or a dimethylpyridine (lutidine); use of inverse NMR and heteronuclear correlation 2D NMR spectroscopy allows full assignment of the carbon resonances for eight of them.
