摘要：
Let H be an infinite dimensional complex Hilbert space and let L(H) denote the algebra of all bounded linear operators on H. For any T is an element of L(H) let \\T\\(e) denote the essential norm of T. The following theorem has been proved independently by S. Brown [1] and in a more general situation by V. Lomonosov [2].
