Coupled fixed point problems have attracted much attention in recent times. In this paper we establish coupled coincidence point and coupled fixed point results in the context of fuzzy metric spaces. The two mappings considered here are assumed to be compatible. Hadzic type t-norm is used. By an application of the coincidence point theorem in fuzzy metric spaces, a corresponding result is obtained in metric spaces. The main theorem of this paper is illustrated with an example.
