摘要
1.5D transducer is capable of only elevation aperture control or performing focusing, shading and aperture control. Elevation steering is typically not included as one of its capabilities. Different versions of 1.5D transducer are considered here. Methods of optimizing the various 1.5D array parameters are discussed and examples are used to illustrate the principles involved.
