摘要
Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) of about 5 nm in diameter were biosynthesized using HAuCl4 solution as the precursor and black tea leaves extract as a reducing agent. Addition of such AuNPs to the KDP/PVA percolative composite film with 2.5 wt% KDP destroys percolative behavior of this composite. The network formed by the KDP grains within the PVA matrix is destroyed in the Au/KDP/PVA film due to the presence of AuNPs. Furthermore, Au/2.5 wt% KDP/PVA nanocomposite film exhibits high dielectric permittivity value similar to 590 along with extremely low dielectric loss similar to 0.34 at 1 kHz and room temperature (300 K). Such a new approach might be applied to destroy percolative behavior even in other systems and have immense technological as well as biomedical importance.
