On substrate selection for direct ink-jet printing

摘要：
The relic obtained through control deposition of a single droplet of ZrO2 ink on a substrate was studied. Silicone release paper and acetate transparency sheet were used as substrates, as their surface free energies were smaller than the surface tension of the ink. Dot mapping was used to detect the presence of zirconium (Zr) in the droplet relics and a lin scan was carried out on the relics across their diameter to examine the distribution of Zr. The dot mapping and the line scan of Zr on the droplet relics on both substrates was also shown.
