Use of cone calorimeter for evaluating fire performances of polyurethane foams

摘要
The effectiveness of cone calorimeter was evaluated in measuring post-ignition parameters of polyurethane rigid foams for building insulation. The apparatus allowed to sufficiently screen the fire behaviour of different samples in spite of both the reduced dimensions of specimens and the low density of the material. The patio between parameter peak values and relative time appears more meaningful than the sole peak value. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
